Ann-Marie McClellan

Ann-Marie McClellan received her BA and MFA Degrees from the University of California, Irvine. 2019 marks Mrs. McClellan's 34th year of teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical dance in the Saddleback Valley.  Mrs.McClellan was the inaugural winner of the Leo Freedman Fellowship for excellence in the arts in Orange County affording her a “full-ride” to graduate school. She has appeared in many musicals and operas including “The Magic Flute”, “On the Town”, and “Follies” choreographed by  “Fosse” dance director, Chet Walker.

 

She was featured by choreographic pioneer and icon, Donald McKayle in his premiere cast of “Ringalevio” and has appeared with San Francisco Ballet, Ballet Pacifica, Coast Ballet Theatre and the Golden State Ballet (artistic director 1996-98.) Mrs. McClellan has been the director of Pacific Theatre Ballet for the last 13 years.  Her students have continued their professional training and performing with New York City Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Radio City Music Hall Rockettes and San Francisco Ballet to name only a few. 

 

Mrs. McClellan served as an Associate Professor of Dance and Dance History for 10 years at Saddleback College.  Mrs. McClellan is invited by many dance schools to teach master classes and currently teaches at Jserra Catholic High School as the director of the dance department.

Dana Zoon 

Dana Dana Zoon was born and raised in New Jersey. She began dancing at the young age of three at a local dance studio and later attended the New Jersey Ballet School. She spent her summers attending summer intensives such as: American Academy of Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet School’s Summer Intensive.
 

After graduating from high school she moved to New York City to attend the Joffrey Ballet School Pre-Professional Ballet Trainee program where she trained for 40+ hours a week. Dana graduated as a company member of the Joffrey Ensemble.

 

During her time with the Joffrey Ensemble she performed in George Balanchine's Walpurgisnacht, as a Mirliton and Snowflake in Gerald Arpino's The Nutcracker, a Soloist in Dwight Rhoden's Rise, and in Jean Emile’s Lighten Up.

 

Dana has studied the Vaganova technique pedagogy and has taught at the Joffrey Ballet School’s Miami Fusion. She is currently dancing professionally with Jersey City Ballet Theater located in Jersey City, NJ. Dana is thrilled to share her love for dance with Hannah’s Dancers!

Hannah Weinmeister

​Hannah was born in Newport Beach, California and lives in South Laguna with her younger sister, mother, father, her dog and her 2 Maine Coon cats.  She started taking dance lessons when she was 2 years old and is now a member of the ballet academy at Pacific Ballet Conservatory in Aliso Viejo.

 

Hannah is also currently enrolled in the JSerra Catholic High School Art Magnet program where she is able to dance under the direction of professional dancer, Ann-Marie McClellan.  Hannah enjoys all forms of dance but her favorite is ballet.  After graduating high school, Hannah plans to attend college on the East Coast where she will study dance and communications and hopes to build her own dance academy someday!
